Arrive in Amman, the capital city. You will be greeted by a member of our team and have a personal assistant to walk you through customs, the entry visa process and baggage claim. Our driver will take you in a private vehicle to check in at the brand new, ultra trendy W Amman Hotel Downtown. If you've stayed at a W Hotel property before, you know the flight here will be worth the hotel stay alone! One of our favorite brands in the world.
The hotel is ideally located across from the Boulevard which has lots of cafes, rooftop bars and a modern shopping mall, all in walking distance.
Enjoy a warm shower, cozy bed, good meal and rest up for the adventure ahead.

June 10
Welcome Meeting, Amman Citadel & Food Tasting Tour
After breakfast, we will host a welcome meeting at the hotel to introduce you to your fellow travelers and go over the plans for the week ahead. Our welcome meetings are always a lot of fun. Champagne & smiles will kick off our tour for the day!
Our first stop will be at the Amman Citadel. Here you will have gorgeous views of the city below and an opportunity to see the Hand of Hercules, spectacular mosques and ancient ruins.The view points over the city here are incredible. The peaceful energy of the space cannot be described in words.
Then we will venture to Downtown Amman to experience the perfect blend of the old + new world. We will rub shoulders with locals in quaint coffee shops, stroll past the Roman Theater, shop in artisan markets and finally stop for hands down, the best hummus in the world. ( Believe us, we've tried it all.)
Did we mention, we will have our VIVE photographer there to capture all of your favorite moments for you?
Enjoy dinner at your leisure this evening after returning back to the W Amman Hotel. We thoughtfully planned this night in Amman to be on the weekend so you can enjoy exploring the local area and nightlife if you wish!

Mt. Nebo , The Baptism Site of Jesus Christ + Other Sacred Grounds
After breakfast we will drive about 40 minutes outside of Amman to Mt. Nebo, the mountain from which Moses viewed the Holy Land. Then we will have the incredible opportunity to walk in the footsteps of Jesus Christ while visiting his famous baptism site. On this excursion we will also get to dip our toes in the Jordan River which flows through the border of Jordan + Israel. It is totally surreal standing between these two countries which hold such rich history + spiritual significance.
On this road trip from Amman, we will take some stops along the way. We will stop by the cities of Sodom + Gomorrah , pause for some gorgeous mountain top photos and enjoy lunch near Mt. Nebo.
We'll return to the W Hotel Amman in the afternoon to freshen up. We have special dinner reservations this evening at a popular local restaurant for our group.

UNESCO World Heritage Site Petra + Luxury Bubble Tent in Wadi Rum + Star Gazing
Today is the day travel dreams are made of. We will check out of our hotel in Amman and head south to visit one of the most famous Wonders of the World, Petra. Walking the paths of ancient civilizations, we will see where camel caravans laden with incense, silks and spices would come to rest on their long journey thousands of years ago. We will explore the rock mountains eventually revealing the breathtaking Treasury carved into red stone. The energy here is incredible. It is not "touristy," rather you will feel like you've stumbled upon one of Earth's hidden gems.
We'll enjoy lunch at Petra together and then carry on with our road trip to Wadi Rum Desert.
Wadi Rum is known as "Valley of the Moon" because of its unique landscape that resembles that of the moon and the incredible views of the night sky. This evening we will check in to our luxury camp just in time for sunset and a special bedouin style dinner prepared especially for our arrival.
Then enjoy some much deserved relaxation under the canopy of stars before drifting off to sleep.
We have reserved the top, very best Luxury Panoramic Tents in Jordan for our group. Ideal for star gazing, each tent is equipped with panoramic windows, en- suite bathroom and shower. Air conditioning, slippers, bathrobe, Dead Sea products, hot shower, bottled mineral water, adapters and a hair dryer are included. Only the best for our VIVE travelers!

Sunrise Yoga, Wadi Rum Jeep Tour + Cultural Experiences
This morning you are invited to welcome the energy of Moon Valley with a special yoga class lead by Michelle Ruiz just as the sun rises to start a new day. Then, enjoy your bedouin style breakfast at camp. After breakfast, you'll have the option to join your fellow travelers for a peaceful camel trek through the desert before heading out to the day's other adventures.
Today we will have a 4 hour jeep tour of Wadi Rum Desert. This area was once inhabited by the Nabataeans of prehistoric times. We will stop along the way to do some ( light ) rock climbing over the natural formed bridges, visit beautiful palm tree oasis and if we are lucky, feed some wild baby camels along the way.
We'll be back at camp for some chill time in the afternoon. Tonight's dinner will be followed by live music and cultural experiences!

The Red Sea, Chill Time + Full Moon Yoga Experience
After breakfast at camp, we will pack our bags and drive one hour to the fascinating city of Aqaba on the coast of the Red Sea. We'll check in to the trendy Hyatt Regency hotel on the marina. Just built in 2018, the hotel is ideally located amidst picturesque mountains and blue lagoons. This is our home for the next three nights as we enjoy VIVE style relaxation and local cultural activities.
The hotel is part of a new concept called Ayla Oasis. Think fusion dining, boutique shopping, night life, a private beach, water sports and spa treatments all at your door step.
Each room is equipped with separate rain shower and soaking tub plus a balcony terrace.
Happy Full Moon! This evening we have arranged a special Full Moon yoga class at a local beach club. We all know how special it is to practice yoga under a Full Moon. Now imagine that practice on the coast of the Red Sea. We are so grateful for friends in Jordan that arranged this special evening for us. If yoga is not your thing, there is so much to explore in the evenings at the oasis! You will absolutely love it here.

There's no better way to gain an understanding of a country than through its food! Today for lunch, a special cooking class will be offered by some of the local women. Learn to cook traditional dishes while gaining insight in to the culture and way of life of this region.
We left today open for you to enjoy the oasis area for spa treatments, Turkish hammam, wine tasting, sunbathing, beach club parties, shopping , stand up paddle boarding , kayaking or anything your heart desires.

After breakfast, we will pack our bags and travel to the lowest point on the Earth's surface, the Dead Sea. This spectacular natural wonder is a bucket list destination for travelers around the globe. It is most sought after for its unique beach vibes, rich religious history, spa mineral products and super salty water that allows you to float effortlessly on the surface. The ozone rich air and therapeutic waters make this one of the natural wonders of the world. This region was spoken of by Cleopatra and is therefore recognized as one of the oldest natural spas in the world.
We have reserved a day pass for each traveler at one of the top 5 Star Resorts in the region, the Movenpick Hotel Dead Sea or Crown Plaza.
